The following scholarships are offered to Richland Two students through the Richland Two Education Foundation. Click the links below for more information on each scholarship. Demetria (Demi) Bannister Scholarship

The Richland School District Two Education Foundation Demetria (Demi) Bannister Scholarship was established in memory of Demi Bannister who was a third grade teacher at Windsor Elementary School. All high school seniors attending a Richland School District Two high school are eligible to apply. Students who attended Windsor Elementary School will have first consideration for the scholarships. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

Calvin (Chip) Jackson Scholarship

The Richland Two Education Foundation Calvin “Chip” Jackson Scholarship was established in memory of Calvin “Chip” Jackson who was a former Richland School District Two Board Member and Richland County Councilman for District 9. The scholarship will provide financial assistance to a qualifying student each year to pursue their dreams of earning a college degree. The $3,500 scholarship will be awarded annually to a student in the district. Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2025. Deadline extensions will not be granted, and incomplete applications will not be considered or reviewed.

The scholarship is open to high school seniors who will be attending technical colleges, two-year and/or four-year colleges.
All applicants must complete an application form.
Applicants will be judged on scholastic achievement, overall leadership, service,integrity and community involvement.
Applications must be accompanied by a 500-word essay written by the applicant.
The applicant must have achieved at least a 2.5 grade point average based on a 4-point scale.
The applicant must have two letters of recommendation.
The Scholarship Selection Committee will review the applications and attachments and make the award selection based on the above criteria. All awards will be made without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender or disability. No members of the committee, nor family members of the committee, will be eligible to receive benefits from this fund. -

Michael J. Lowder Scholarship

The Richland School District Two Education Foundation Michael J. Lowder Scholarship was established in memory of Michael Lowder who was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and Clemson University. All qualifying seniors attending a Richland School District Two high school who plan to attend Clemson University are eligible to apply for this $1500 scholarship.

Service Solutions Scholarship

Service Solutions will award ten $2,000 scholarships to seniors graduating from a Richland School District Two high school. All high school seniors are eligible. Students of employees of Service Solutions will have first consideration for the scholarships.

Dr. Sarah Sanchez Scholarship

The Dr. Sarah Sanchez Scholarship of $500 is awarded each year to a student who has overcome barriers to learning and is now graduating from high school and eligible to attend an institution of higher learning. Dr. Sanchez, a school psychologist and administrator, worked for 35 years with students with disabilities; this scholarship is intended for students who are not eligible for other types of scholarships but have the motivation to pursue a vocation.
